Manhattan Pied-à-Terre

This project encompassed the complete renovation of a contemporary two-bedroom pied-à-terre overlooking the Hudson River, reconfigured to fully embrace its exceptional outlook. The interior was opened into a seamless living and dining environment, allowing natural light to flow throughout while enhancing the connection to the surrounding landscape.

The spatial layout was carefully reconsidered to introduce discreet, highly functional storage, ensuring a sense of clarity and effortless living. Finishes and materials were selected with both elegance and practicality in mind, reflecting the client’s lifestyle and love of entertaining.

A curated selection of iconic, design-led furnishings brings depth and character to the scheme, balancing comfort with quiet sophistication. In the guest bedroom, bespoke elements—including a custom bookcase and upholstered velvet headboards—introduce a more intimate, layered atmosphere.

The result is a refined and highly considered residence, where clean architectural lines are complemented by enduring materials and a timeless, understated aesthetic.
